How to prepare your UGC NET photo and signature
- Take a clear, recent photo in good light against a plain white background, or scan your signature on white paper.
- Choose the picture in the tool above. For the photo, use the sliders to keep your face in the centre.
- Press the button. FileNimbo makes a JPG at the exact pixel size and inside the KB limit the NTA asks for.
- Check the preview and the green ticks, then download the file and upload it on the official form.
UGC NET photo and signature rules
- Photo: recent passport-size photo on a white background. Your face, including the ears, should cover about 80% of the photo. No mask.
- A live photo is also taken with your webcam or phone (QR code) while filling the form.
- Signature: your own clearly legible signature, scanned as JPG.
- The signature limit is 10–50 KB in the December 2026 bulletin, which is different from older NET cycles.
