Choose a useful starting point

Keep a copy of the original and check page order before you process. Image-to-PDF creates image-based pages; PDF-to-JPG creates flat pictures of pages. Neither adds searchable text through OCR.

Signed, interactive and other advanced PDF features require special care. Editing tools reject detected sensitive features, while Optimize PDF can return the original unchanged. Inspect every new PDF before sharing it.
