Turn JPG, PNG and WebP images into a PDF
Combine selected images into PDF pages in order. Choose A4 or image-size pages; compatible JPEG data is embedded directly without another JPEG encode.

How to use image to pdf
Create a document containing one page per selected image. The tool keeps your selection order and fits each image proportionally onto A4 or a bounded image-size page. Compatible ordinary JPEG streams are embedded unchanged to avoid a needless PNG conversion. Other inputs are normalized by the browser for orientation or colour handling, then embedded as PNG without another JPEG encode.
- Select up to 16 supported static images in the intended page order and review the selected-file list.
- Choose A4 for a consistent document page size or Fit page to image for bounded image-based page sizes.
- Process the PDF and read the result notes about direct JPEG embedding or browser normalization.
- Open the download and inspect every page’s order, orientation, placement and readability.
A practical example
Select a front-page JPG followed by a back-page PNG to make a two-page PDF in that order. The JPG may use direct byte preservation when compatible; the PNG remains an image page. Neither page automatically gains searchable text.
Supported files and limitations
- This is not OCR, a PDF text editor or a guaranteed smaller-file converter. PDF wrappers add overhead, and normalized images can increase size.
- Compatible JPEG embedding retains original JPEG metadata, which may contain camera/location details. This page is not a metadata scrubber.
- Rotated, profiled or ambiguous JPEGs take the conservative normalization path. Supported image size/output limits still apply.
- A4 centres and proportionally fits the image; spare whitespace follows its aspect ratio. There is no custom margin field, and image-size pages are bounded.
Troubleshooting
Why is the PDF larger than my JPEG?
The PDF adds document structure. A source needing orientation or colour normalization also uses a PNG representation that can be larger. The report states which embedding path was used; no smaller-output promise is made.
Why are the pages in the wrong order?
The tool uses the selected-file order shown before processing, not a page-reordering editor. Clear and reselect the images in the required order.
Questions about image to pdf
Are ordinary JPGs recompressed before PDF embedding?
Compatible JPEG data is embedded unchanged. Unsupported colour/profile/orientation metadata triggers browser normalization instead of blind direct embedding.
Does this strip my JPEG’s EXIF metadata?
Not on the compatible direct path: the original JPEG bytes, including metadata, are retained. Review sensitive metadata before sharing. The normalized path omits original image metadata.
Will the PDF contain selectable text from my scan?
No OCR is performed. The PDF contains page images; text inside them is not automatically searchable or selectable.
Can I choose margins and reorder pages after selection?
There is no separate margin control or reorder editor. Review selection order; A4 uses centred proportionate placement and image-size output uses bounded page sizes.
How many images can I combine?
Up to 16 files, subject to per-image, combined-byte and safe pixel limits. Very large images can be refused even when the file count is valid.
